Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Act 2 - Exiled Alchemist - where is he?

I've trailed all over the imp's area doing the quests. I've found all three ingredients for the cure of the plague, but I can't remember where the exiled alchemist is, if I ever met him. Can someone please help?

He's in the Dead Forest in a underground cave type place. This picture shows the location. May contain spoilers if you haven't explored or something:

I've just gone back there - there is no-one there. Am I meant to return the ingredients to him? If so, how?

Did you talk to Altoflix in the north of the village and discover the cause of the plague, then talk to the chieftain's son to get the quest to find the alchemist?

What version were you playing when you found the ingredients? There was a bug which would update your quest log if you move these items in your inventory, which can cause problem with the alchemist.

If you have not moved them yet, don't. Otherwise let me know what point in the game you are; it is fixable.
