Has anyone entered the locked door in Walker's store? Whenever I tried to get in I ended up arrested. Is there any way to lockpick the door without him seeing you ( even invisibility doesn't work)? (It would be great to rob him blind just like Geoff and Kristandalius )

Open the door first time (IIRC Walker should lock it again), then lockpick the door again and open them, but don't enter the room.

Use teleport pyramids to get inside.

What does he do, call the guards? Normally just lockpicking may lower his attitude towards you, but no calling for guards as long as you don't enter.

Yes he does. the door is unlocked when i first walk in. i open it. he immediately walks over and locks it. i then proceed to pick it and he calls them in. Maybe its because i'm playing with the latest patch? I was hoping there was another way back there...

Hey, does his attitude have anything to do with it? for example if his attitude is 25 does he watch you more closely when you come in as oppose to 100 would he trust you completely and let you have the run of the place?

I played with the last patch and had no problems - I needed the key from there for an experiment. You're sure, you didn't move ONE little step into it after lockpicking? Look at the screenshot, you char should not be seen, just the globe (if you use these magical shields of course.

Never thought of low attitude, cause I've always got a high one very quickly - and I didn't rob Walker at the beginning, only when I had the lockpick lvls I needed for the chest (lvl 4). So I had quite some time to buy many potions from him.

Try this: Sell stuff to him and let him get more than it's worth. If his attitude is above 50, try stealing again.

Never even attempted to move into that room...when you lockpick you are not moving. the act of lockpicking seems to get him going. I think i'll try improving his attitude and see what that does. I've never bought a thing off of him or traded with him.

Thanks for your help kiya [Linked Image]

Hello to you all, this is a nice forum Now to my very first question: I appear to be blind, but I can neither see a spellbook nor a key in this room, can anybody please tell me what I am missing???

Thanks so much

Why go through all that trouble with the teleporter stones and lockpicking when you can just take a level in the poison cloud spell and nuke him to death? That's what I did, and I enjoyed every minute of his squirming... *ahem* Anyway, I just don't bother with him until I can kill him, then I can steal everything from the store without a care in the world. Oh yeah, and in a chest next to his bed, I found a lovely amulet with 5 charm slots without reloading.

yes, well, that takes out one of 3 good potion dealers in the game. I don't like spending points on alchamy, so i buy them or summon them with that one skill, uh, heavens gift? yeah,.

I usually carry about 100 potions around with me, all of which are white restoration potions. The rest of the potions, such as those I find dropped by monsters or in chests, I usually sell. I never bother with potion sellers by the time I reach Ars Magicana, so I just kill him. Wow I sound like such a psycho.
