Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General [Spoilers] Wyll Died?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not - I recruited Wyll, told him to go back to my camp. Then accepted a quest to kill Khaga, the druid 'leader'. After I did that, I walked out of her enclave and almost all the druids were dead, save a couple I had to engage in combat with, and I spoke with the tiefling leader to complete the quest, who said he noticed I had joined with Wyll and that I should follow his plan, and went back to camp. But when I got there Wyll wasn't there. Puzzled, I checked my journal and it says 'Wyll died, as heroes often do'. Is this supposed to happen? Did he somehow get killed in the druid camp? I would have thought he would be teleported safely to my camp.

A character dying presumably due to combat can hardly be considered a spoiler. I don't think it's story-related.

Well he died for me but not there, but I would assume it's a bug. For me he died at the Druid camp gate fight. Turn 2 or so he gets shocked and just "dead dead". No reviving him, lol.
