Two items:

1) If a character is casting an aiding/helping/boosting spell on a party member, it would be really nice if I could click the target's character portrait in the bottom left to target them.

2) I know the chaining system is from the DOS system. But I really think the game would benefit from a party selection system like BG 1&2 or RTS. Having the ability to drag my cursor and select characters either on screen or by portraits would make both investigating and combat setup much easier.

I'll also go one step further and suggest a Party Management Option. When I went to recruit Lae'zel I couldn't because she said my party was full. Cue the next 5 minutes of me trying to go through everything to figure out if there was a party management option I could click on. Nope. Then I decided to make camp, maybe it's like Dragon Age where I can decide my party when I leave camp. Of course this wasn't the case. It took a ridiculously long time for me to figure out I need to talk to the person I need to kick out, kick them out, then go back over and talk to Lae'zel and tell her to come to party.


BG solved this in the first game: it had a party management option in the game, and it allowed you access when you tried to recruit new NPCs.
