When out of turn-based mode and exploring, any party-members not under direct control should have their movement AI detect and avoid visible hazards when keeping up with the character under control. It's irritating having to babysit them around things such as fire and grease when we're moving as a group. I also feel there should be a formation option as there was in the original Baldur's Gate series. I often find the character under control get's too far ahead sometimes and if unexpected combat triggers you can sometimes find other party members are a little too far away. Formation control features would help.
