Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Game turned into a slideshow and crashed.

I was exploring, just recruited Lae'zel to my party and followed up the road.
My party overheard some shouting so I followed the hint. The cutscene had played out and everything turned into a slide show. Like suddenly my frame rate would drop to 5fps or so...
The battle would continue (I could still hear the sound of what's going on) and camera would jump occasionally from place to place trying to catch up with what's going on.
When it came to my turn everything froze and game crashed.

If you are playing the game on borderless fullscreen change it to fullscreen and also change your vsync to double buffering if it is in triple buffering or closed. Thats how I solved it at least.
