A consolidated list of the top quality of life complaints from myself and gaming group so far.
- Character portraits and the level up confirm button in the same location. This means a simple double click to lock you into a subclass you didn't want! Moving the button or adding a confirmation would be fantastic.
- Sneak attack can still be cast when you don't have advantage, causing it to be just a regular attack. This seems like a bug or quality of life problem. Our whole group assumed the reason sneak attack was its own skill and not part of normal attack was to prevent any surprise misplays.
- Using a disengage (IE: leap) slightly outside the max range causes you to run slightly, resulting in an attack of opportunity. This is surprisingly easy if you are trying to maximize the range. It would be nice if auto-move never caused attacks of opportunity, ESPECIALLY when trying to ask a disengage. If that is not possible, a stronger visual indicator like turning the entire jump line and circle red would be awesome.
- Without the gold highlights it can be hard to tell the currently active player. When only one player/enemy is on the current turn it only makes the portrait a little bigger. A clearer visual would be nice.
- In combat saving throw dice don't convey information very quickly. Most of the animation is spent on rolling the dice compared to showing pass/fail. In large groups it would be nice if it lasted a little longer.
- Other players cant see you rolling dice in conversation, leading to some conversation pacing gaps for your party members.
- No ping button
