Others have covered suggestions within the character creation screen, but I think it would do to reorganize where somethings are.

My first suggestion is to move the "Origin" tab to the very end, on the right side of the "Abilities" tab.

This adjustment seems that it would be more intuitive and closer to how you actually build your character on a character sheet in a D&D game. I have made 2 characters so far that were named Tav, and have the Acolyte background completely on accident. It was certainly my fault, but in my option, it makes more sense to create your race and class, before deciding your background.

Additionally, once origin characters become playable (either in EA or 1.0), I feel like it makes more sense to go to the end of character creation to choose a pre-made character, and Venturing Forth. Which brings me to my other suggestion.

My other suggestion is removing the 'Venture Forth' button from the other tabs other than the final (from my previous suggestion) "Origin" tab.

To me, this is a sort of visual confirmation that you are in the end of character creation. The "Origin" page can be a place where you can quickly review all of your previous changes BEFORE hitting the 'Venture Forth' button.

Thank you for taking the time to review my suggestion! Keep up the amazing work!

I think this is a good suggestion. The PHB specifically has the suggested character creation order as Race -> Class -> Ability Scores -> Background, so your suggestion is even consistent with that.

If it's anything like DIVOS2 (Everything else about the game is like DIVOS2, so far!), the 'Origin' choices dictate your race and gender. So it makes sense to keep it before you get your customization options as it limits your customization options.

Well I certainly hope they are making decisions based on the mertis of the Baldur's Gate franchise and not based on 'This is how we did it before, etc.'

To me, it makes more sense to go to the end BECAUSE there will be limited customization options, chose an origin character, and launch.
