I've run into an issue a few times where it seems like my companion's turn is getting skipped. For instance, let's say that the turn order is me, Lae'zel, then the enemies. I do my thing and hit end turn. Instead of going to Lae'zel, it instead goes through all of the enemies then gets back to me. It also doesn't seem like my companion is affected by anything such as stun that would make her lose a turn. It doesn't always happen, but it definitely messes with my action economy to lose out on an entire turn. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ah ok, so I wasn't imagining it then. Yeah for me, Gale got skipped a couple of times during combat. And he wasn't incapacitated in anyway, but it made me wonder if some spell effect slipped under my notice lol

It's not skipping completely per say. From what I've noticed, depending on your initiative and how close in proximity you are to a certain member, you both go at the same time. The bug(?) here seems to be that when you hit End Turn on one member, it ends it for both EVEN if you haven't done anything on the other character. There really should be a warning when that is happening OR make End turn not end all members turns.

That definitely seems to be a part of it. Most of the time this has happened, they've been right next to each other in the turn order. Though, there was one instance where an enemy had their turn between ours, and it still seemed to skip my companion's turn. It's possible that that enemy applied some sort of effect causing my companion to lose her turn. Even if a character can't do anything, it might be good to have it still stop on their turn as a reminder of the effect.

I too have noticed seemingly random moments where a turn is skipped. Additionally, I tried to stay vigilant in watching for any stuns, freeze, charm, etc that would be possibly affecting the situation.

It does seem partially related to the 'shared turn' concept (which I do think is really cool, especially in Multiplayer). Something that would really help is a rudimentary combat log or way to see something I may have missed. The turns can move at a jarring pace (6 seconds of CPU thinking, then 3 quick actions in 1 second) kind of stuff.

With how prevalent the issue is, it's likely they're aware of it. Nothing less fun in a game than losing control (or losing out) on a whole turn of choices!

Pretty confident from that this is related to the shared turn in initiative pairs from watching it happen a few times.

Using stadia controller on TV I also some times miss turns when I press B to go back after selecting a spell and the interface reacts like I am holding B and skips my turn too. I am starting to get anxiety about touching the B button at all! 🤦🏻‍♂️
