Hello Larian,

Okej so i have a problem in camp, when i try to make camp one follower Shadowheart wants to talk, she starts by saying that something is wrong and she feels? and that darkness needs to protect her, then its my turn to talk and ask her things but nothing is happening, i dont get get any conversation options. Been giving it a few minutes but no talking. So iam stuck here i cannot rest and get spells back so no more adventure. Please help

There is another post with other people having this problem, you're not alone. I just started a new character. No point in playing if you can't take a long rest.

Interacting with a bedroll does nothing?

Didnt work for us, have to wait untill the developers notice and bring a fix for this, but since devs do not reply we dont know if we have to wait 1 week, 1 month or a year for a fix
In all honesty, I know its a beta game (WIP), but a bug like this shouldnt happen. Crashes are oké and understandable, bugs too but something like this? didnt they even test their own game or what!?
I dont feel like making a new character (again) to be honest so ill sit it out and wait for a fix.

i test vulcan and directx11
i test low configuration
i test to kill shadowheart
no way
i play without spells.....not rly fun so i create a new character
i hope this bug will be fix soon

Similar issue, I am able to sleep but the game crashes during the resting cutscene, both Vulkan and DX11, all drivers updated (this is the first time I've tried to long rest since hotfix 2).

hmm i will try to do that with the chars that are not in the conversation, maby that unstuck this ty for advice

Ok that didnt work, cant rest with others in camp when there is a conversation in the making, ok i guess i have to remake and play something else

i think i find a solution.
when i am in that bug (after shadowheart feel sick) i choose attack in left bottom menu. after that i can click on bed and rest.... i ve got a cinematic with astarion.
after that i have no bug with the camp.
i just can t see the cinematic with shadowheart.
i hope it will help...

Same problem here. Hope they fix this soon.
Edit: Tried daweed's workaround. It worked. I had to select Shadowheart first though, else I didn't have an option to attack.
I also tried the "attack"-fix with another similar issue - Reading the Necromancy of Thay, which also hangs. Did not work with that however.

No idea why there is a cutscene for every time you try and rest too that makes no sense to me.

Found a solution on Reddit. If you can't see dialogue in cutscenes, just press "Spacebar". Works for me in both cases.

Exact same issue. I was actually logging in to report it myself when I saw the title of this thread and thought maybe it was the same problem I was having. Yep! Hopefully the added exposure here will help draw their attention to the problem.
