So I am playing with some friends and I noticed I raised the wrong stat (wisdom instead of charisma).

Problem was, I only noticed a few hours into the game and didn't want to ask to restart, so I am now stuck with a gimped character.

I would like to see some way of respecking, or just being able to bring in a character from a single player game(non-storyline/main character).

I think respecing would maybe break multiclassing a bit.
As you could level up as a single class then respec over to a multiclass for more abilities.
It would feel a little weird or at least I think so.

This is a game where you kinda have an idea of what you want to do with your characters before you even start.

Then I would at least like to be able to see what my character will be able to get in my level up's in the creation screen.

You also just made me hungry.
Although it could be that I have only eaten cereal bars so far. Sooooo, I am gonna go make a burrito for myself.

I think that's a fair compromise and a sensible inclusion for those who are unfamiliar with DnD or just in general. I personally don't like the idea of a respec because I feel like your class should be a big part of who you are in this game. But it does make it a bit difficult to commit to something when you aren't sure what to expect with it.

It’s not needed now. We have a long time in EA with only four levels. Just roll with it and try different things in subsequent play throughs.

Later on? A limited respec is okay, I guess. We all can appreciate the regret for a choice, but there is something unsavory and lame about wholesale and unlimited respec options

I agree, I don't want unlimited respeck in the game. Just something during EA(though not really necessary), and maybe a respeck choice at the end of Act l.

And you are right, I am still having fun trying out the different classes, even if I did gimp myself with this one.
