Anyone else think this should show either the AC or the Save roll instead?

Anyone else think this should show either the AC or the Save roll instead? To be honest, it shouldn't show anything... that's not Fallout or X-Com. Knowing your partie's strengths and finding out your enemie's weaknesses is part of the game.

I agree, all states should be hidden until you fight it for a bit and they gradually are learned. or if you can find information on them in book or from NPCs. As for the %, im torn. Since its harder to see your to hit and stuff it seems the % does help, especially new players. I think a toggle option might be nice.

I mean, the game lets you see what was rolled if you want to look so it kind of does show the rolls, it's just not as in your face as the actual percentage.

Nah I think it should be hidden, showing statistics of creatures is the ability of certain classes/subclasses in 5e, so if everyone could know them, it'd kinda take away from that.

Maybe show the roll that is needed to hit. Amounts to the same thing, but at least it has more of a D&D appearance

True, but you seldom know what the AC is right away, if ever. Unless you have a REALLY inexperienced DM. Usually someone throws an attack, it hits or misses, player takes a mental note. After a round or two, players can usually guess the AC. But they never know when combat starts, unless they have memorized the monster manual inside and out lol

But I think it’s just more fun to know before the roll.
