The game is feeling great. Love the diversity of the way the story plays out to different characters. Monsters don't feel repetitive, and has overall captured the D&D world vibe I so love.
The verity of ways you can approach a situation is impressive.
Sound and music is superb!
I do have a couple of pet peeves.
Why am I armed right from the get go? I know it's silly, but seems like with all the abduction, there should be a gear room and not leaving me unarmed would be more likely then not. (again super silly but nonsensical)
Speaking of nonsensical, The red dragon attacking the Nautiloid paying no mind too the Githyanki. She would have jumped right on the back of that big red and said "bye"
No urgency given to getting the tadpole out of your head. I know it is early access but I hope this will have more weight in the first act of the full game.
Drow not having globe of darkness. Dancing lights is a Drow trait spell but it is viewed as corrupted behavior. Think you should be able to choose between them or underdark elves get darkness.
Long rest having no chance of random encounter at camp. No downside to a long rest.
When casting a spell on a party member you should be able to click on portrait of the character to cast it as well as the avatar.
Perception checks should not show unless successful. Gives you information you should not know on a fail.
Don't care for the initiative system. Some wheels don't need to be reinvented.
Your talented team has created some really memorable gameplay moments already, and I cant wait to see what else is up your sleeves.
