This happened to me with the 1.2 version, then I forgot about it. Figured it was something that would be corrected. But as someone else (who's name I regrettably forget) posted last night, it's still there (or back). I'm using 1.42 now, and if I get an item identified by a battlefield merchant, my DK or PC gets encumbered. The weight does not appear to change in the process. Strange.
