Just recently levelled up and chose this feat for lae'zel and it's -5 hit penalty is affecting all attacks including ranged with a bow and an there's no option to toggle it off.
Hey, it's kind of weird but if you see the icon for great weapon master on the right side of your toolbars, try clicking on it, it's unresponsive but it does activate and deactivate.
