Obviously he is taking a dump. How do I open it? The room is one the far left on the barracks level.

Room is locked and stays locked. Maybe with lockpick later on - a new patch?

No key in the game. It is supposed to stay closed. Even Larians respect privacy... Though I wouldn't be surprised if one day a gamer finds a method and reads a Larian note in that chest.
