HI everyone! I just got BD for Mother's Day! Yeah I got hooked and my boyfriend got it for me! I have a question about armour, weapons, etc...when I get a weapon or gain some armour...it shows all values as -speed -ETC,.....how do I get it to the + side????
I have already downloaded the new patch, but does it fix this problem or is it a problem???? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

To answer your question: wearing certain items gives you a penalty on certain stats, for instance speed, so it's supposed to be negative <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, just think about it and it makes sence. If you're gonna wear a really heavy metal plated armour for instance, it's gonna protect you well, but it's also gonna slow you down a bit.

The trick is to find armour that not only protects you well, but also doesn't affect your stats too negatively.

thanks for taking the time to give positive feedback. some of the hardcore gamers out here have been absolutely railing on Larian for the oops that occurred in the recent patches. i experienced it, but thankfully i have the foresight to see that railing on them accomplishes little to nothing, and appreciate their efforts.

There are random modifiers, such as 'of initiative' or 'of swiftness', that either have a less negative penalty or sometimes even a positive bonus compared to items of the same class.
