I killed the Redcaps and followed the Hag down the stairs behind the fireplace, character models would vanish in this little area between the fireplace and the stairs. After I went down and talked to the Gnarled door I passed the persuasion check but the door didn't open. I also tried to lockpick it and it unlocked but clicking the door just starts dialogue and the only option is "Leave".
