It's not my PC since I play much higher end games just fine.

My PC specs:

Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Ati 9800 PRO Videocard
1 GIG DUAL CHANNEL MEMORY
ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe Motherboard
Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum
120GB WD HD 8MB buffer

Just the act 2 lava area seems a bit sluggish

same here

kinda strange if you know that i play far cry at very high detail
and bd slows me down
i guess its some kind of memory leak, but heck, certainly doesnt spoil my fun

yes. not sure why that happens. probably a result of coding that could have been executed better. but since i'm not a coder, i really don't know and its all speculation.

overall, its not as sluggish as DD was before they corrected that problem in the city of Verdistis. don't know if it can be fixed further.

It occurs when flames arise from the ground.
Otherwise it's ok.
I saw the slame slowdown you had in DD while exiting buildings once during first weeks of beta test, but i think it is fixed now, cause i did not see it again a few weeks later

I have forwarded this to the programmers and they will have a look into it.
