As someone who can easily ( and happily) spend hours in a game, I would like to make a suggestion of an in game clock to show you the current time. At least then I can refute any claims from my wife when she says I have spent all day here!

One of the few mods I ever install in a game is a clock (preferably one that does real time and in-game time...and one I can set an alarm on).
Maybe developers WANT you spending your whole life in game, but when the wife kicks me out for forgetting to collect the kids, make dinner, etc, ...
