I've started a new game with the 1.42 patch and so far it seems pretty bug-free, but I just ran into my first really noticeable glitch:

I killed a skeleton mage in the Battlefields (ground level) and he dropped an item that looks like a hat, but is called "Rags Leggings", and can't be readied as either a helmet or leggings.

This is an old bug, but still exists:
If you move a chest into your inventory, then open it while it's inside your inventory, then move it around in your inventory, it ends up counting 0 against your character's weight.

I don't know if these are bugs or not:

The "do you wish to make camp?" dialog box still stays up after you've already done the camp.

The box in the upper right when loading a game, when I assume would show a mini-screenshot of where you were when you saved, is still blacked out.

Shields still don't have "shield" in the name, ie they're just "Magic" or "Royal" or "Round" etc.

When killing monsters, the items they drop still occasionally can drop inside a wall or such, and can't be picked up. Happened to me when I killed Fergus.

This bug seems like it only applies to certain chests. Some don't seem to be able to "open", even though you can bring up their inventory

Do not double click food or bedroll. Single click.

When you are playing with FSAA on, savegames do not have screenshots associated with em.

Do you have an idea if this might be fixed in future? I know, it's not that dramatically, but I'm curious

Thanks for the answers (and you were right about the camp double-click thing...duh)

I ran across another couple bugs:

This one has already been mentioned in another thread here, but I figured I'd toss it in here while I'm logging all my bugs: when trying to combine the salt into the coal, both items would disappear on me. The solution, which also worked for someone else in the other thread, was to exit the game and re-enter, then it worked fine.

The well-known "bone spear" which actually looks like a ring but seems to be a weapon and can't be used as either, is still hanging around in the Battlefields dungeon(s).

Oh, also sometimes when I go to load a game (especially after exiting and re-entering the game), the savegames won't be in date order, ie the one at the top isn't necessarily my newest save. The dates listed are correct, just the actual entries aren't ordered by the dates.

Also, the date format is European instead of U.S., would be nifty if it used the Windows date format setting or something, heh...

Unsure if this one is a bug or not, but it looks like it:

When you kill the guards on the patrol level in Act I (not the deathknight patrols, but the uniformed human guards), they literally explode into treasure, gold, and tons of arrows... The one merchant guy in the northeast dropped about 20 items for me, for example. This wasn't the case in 1.32, seems new in 1.42...

Doesn't happen on every guard, though, only certain ones it seems...

Fireblade, I think it's a feature => you can trade with nearly every guard - and as trader stock was boosted up due to demands of the community, you have a lot of loot dropping now. And it was introduced since 1.4

Hmm, yeah, that would make sense. One crazy thing, though: one of the guards dropped 83 "Valuable Earth Arrow of Surprize". They sell for about 1900 coins apiece, heh. That was an easy 150K...

Wasn't this one supposed to be fixed: after leaving Act I, my character portraits and order are flipped. ie F1 is the deathknight, F2 is my main guy, and the portraits are swapped.

This is with a 1.42 fresh game, as everything else in this thread is...

Hit F5 twice, it should fix that.

When you combine items, the original items disappear and form a new object. Did this object end up in another character's inventory or under another inventory tab?

Well if you combine on the ground it easilly vanish.
If i combine in inventory of DK i always find them in the inventory of the Human. Which is scary cause you see everything disapear and then try to anxiously find the result in the other inventory
If the Human can't wear the new item cause it's too heavy, then i fear it could disapear as well.

Note that some combinations result may be disapearing, but nothing is said when combination does fail or suceed.

As when you see "You acquired an item", you hardly find which one it was when you open your inventory.

Or the pyramid on the ground in act II, disapear when you put mouse on it, cause you have to find the other one first, but the DK dont say you anything about it, so it looks like some kind of bug ... but it's intended like this ...

Enough time passed on forum i go back and play

The other day, when I tried it, I tried it about 2-3 times, quickloaded each time, and looked EVERYWHERE for the combined object, but just couldn't find it. Finally, I exited the game, re-entered, did it again, and had no problem finding the object.

Last night, I was doing the same combining again, and I thought it disappeared again. But I was able to find the combined object in the other character's inventory.

So now I'm not so sure what exactly is going on...

No, it doesn't seem to.
