Just bought the game and was super stoked to try it out today. Unfortunately, I can't launch the game and everything I'm trying is for naught. I've tried updating graphics drivers, different directX settings, and can't get past a black screen on game launch. Anyone else have suggestions?
Here's a brief overview of my system: [list] [*] Windows 7 SP1 [*] NVidia GeForce GTX 780 (w/ v456.71 driver) [*] DirectX 11 (Main Drivers - v27.21.14.5671) [*] 16GB RAM [*] Running on a mechanical HD (no SSD) [*] Intel Core i5-3570K @3.4GHz
Looking at the minimum game specs I see conflicting info for the OS - Some sources say Windows 7 works and some don't. I also see a CPU spec for "intel i5-4690", I didn't think my older CPU would affect this.
Would love a helpful second pair of eyes - I want to gather my party before venturing forth!
What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?

Go to steam folder, steamapps, common, BG3, bin, find the dx11 exe file of the game, press and hold shift key and right click run as administrator, do not release shift key until the game starts. It should work
