Again it's my opinion but i think that would make big difference:
1. Colors - many people see the colors in BG3 and instantly compare to DOS2, but it's true, and i think it's because of so much similarities with light green, too bright. if you look at BG1 the colors were definitely darker green
2. Party control - i think in old BGs had it right, click on portrait that avatar was selected, select 2 or 3 use mouse, select all you get the idea. this chaining HAS TO GO, i spent yesterday most of the day playing, my wrist hurts now. and if you say it worked in DOS (not really) and that's precisely why it shouldn't be here.
oh, another thing: Space bar - it's great that you can speed up conversation, but do not let it to select another line.

I love the BG series but it is a very brown series. I welcome the variety of colors. 2. The F-keys can select your characters.

Could someone put up a couple of screenshots to illustrate this?

The F-keys can select your characters. 1. i get that people like different/new things, but as of right now Blighted Village looks like Driftwood after blight pandemic 2. F keys do nothing that mouse can't, they do not unchain character only select them +1 one for the first topic (did not mean to steal the thunder party wise i'm indifferent, i understand benefits and larger variety of such style, but at the same time i'm fine with smaller group, if it will comes to voting i would sit that out

I absolutely don't give a shit about the "my thunder" being stolen. If I keep pointing the thread to people making similar complaints about the control system it's just because we need to focus our voices as coordinately as possible if we want to have a minimal chance of Larian acknowledging our request (and MAYBE even satisfying it).
