Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Joining Failed No Playable Character

Unsure if it's a bug or if my friends just can't figure out the settings. Every time we start up a game and leave it, whenever we try to rejoin it gives the message that joining failed because there are no playable characters. This occurs when the game only has 2 people, and we are 4. Is there a way to relinquish control of the characters so the entire party of 4 can play? We are all playing on Stadia. Thanks again.

I've been running into the same issue with my friends, I'm hoping to give the issue more visibility. The one time we were able to fix it was by having the host go to camp, remove all characters from the party, and then send invites to everyone. It only fixed it once, when the we had to reload again we were unable to get it to work again.
