Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Can't leave Camp or Long Rest

Pretty basic issue, went in for first long rest of run through. Got to camp fine, talked with everyone and trying to click on bedrolls to sleep. Can't sleep, can't fast travel out either. So just kinda stuck at the camp

What happens if you click on the fire? Normally clicking the fire takes you back to the world. (it's not really obvious so easy to miss)

I'm having the same issue, i get the sleep cutscene and crash to drsktop. I keep trying different things and sometimes it doesn't even let me activate the bedrolls or the camp fire.

This just started to happen after the big fire and the Decteer? Hideout.

Oh yeah nothing happens when click on fire either. Been all around the camp and have clicked everything available as myself and the party. Stuck there for now.

And for me Cleaving it started right after fight with bandits out by the trap our githyanki gal is in. Was a bit beat up, wanted to rest and now stuck

Oh wow hrmm. I'm quite further along when this happened to me. Did you quicksave just before going to camp? I did and wonder if that is when it broke.

I as well am having the same issue. I arrived at camp, had a dream, woke up, and talked to all characters. Now I'm stuck. I had Lae'zel leave my group, tried taking a short rest, tried fast travel, but nothing has worked.
Anyone found a solution yet?

Problem solved!! I tried again. Slept, had the dream, woke up, and received a new Illithid power. Spoke to all party members, took a short rest, and then fast traveled out of camp and back to where I was in the game.

*grumbles*

Was able to fix it by reloading a earlier save and not having issue now. Have gone back to camp a few times and saved before doing so in case

I'm pretty sure the bug about leaving camp is related to using the Escape key instead of No in the "Do you want to sleep?" dialog, or it is for me anyway. I thought a piece of character dialogue was the cause, but it's that other kind of dialog instead.

My save is just before camp. I have yet to find any fixes, I've given up on my halfling for now.
