A quick suggestion : let us pause the game whenever the game starts a new dialog.

I was getting out of combat with two of my companions bleeding to death. Just after the combat a dialog started and my two companions going on rolling against death, which is really a bad design.

As it is now, the only way to prevent this is to let the dialog start (which means one more death saving throw roll), hit the switch character button as quiclky as possible (probably another death saving throw roll) , then pick the character who isn't dying and who is as close to those bleeding as possible, then to make him run and help (by the time you get there a third death saving throw roll should be done).

Very very tedious and unnecessary. I want to feel good because I survived through a combat, not bad and stressed because the game doesn't allow me to tell the NPC who comes speaking to me that one of my companions is dying and he should wait before bothering me (which would happen in tabletop...).

ive had characters die a few times after fights because of this and its pretty annoying. death saving throws at least need to be paused after a fight if you are tossed into an unavoidable chit chat immediately after combat. on top of this i feel these 'real time' saving throws happen a little too quickly in general but that might just be me.

Yes, I had this happen to me last night. A character was dying, but whoops my Cleric is busy talking to someone, and not only is the person dying, but I can't concentrate on the conversation anyway because a character is dying.

If a character is making Death Saving throws, that should count as In Combat still, forcing turn-based mode onto everyone nearby. No dialogue should be started.

Additionally, Death Saving Throws should be rolled manually. If Larian thinks that is exploitable by letting characters in real-time race from across the map to save their friends, then perhaps put a 12 second timer before it's rolled automatically. Automatic failures don't get rolled, obviously.
