Anyone else find it odd you sleep in your armor? Its kind of strange to see some cut-scenes when your in heavy armor and everything on the sleeping roll lol.

Might be cool if they added the 5e rules for resting in armor. Since as it is now you can sleep in armor and if their is a fight or event that wakes you up you don't have to put it back on.

Quote
SLEEPING IN ARMOR (Xanathar's Page 77)
Sleeping in light armor has no adverse effect on the wearer, but sleeping in medium or heavy armor makes it
difficult to recover fully during a long rest.

When you finish a long rest during which you slept in medium or heavy armor, you regain only one quarter of
your spent Hit Dice (minimum of one die). If you have any levels of exhaustion, the rest doesn’t reduce your exhaustion level.

Now obviously im not expecting you to unequipped yourself every night, it should be automatic and only come into effect if you are interrupted.

side note: is exhaustion even a thing in bg3? I have not seen any instances of it yet.

I don't think it is, you can pretty much ignore your character telling you he/she is getting tired.

in BG3 in battle u can do infinite actions like turning on/off candles open/closing doors.

Even ritual spells casts without 10 minutes

So Don/Dof is not a thing... i think (this is very bad)

Hmm, i don't mine the ritual spells being cast in less then 10mins, cant stand around in game all day that's for sure. And i get not having Don/Dof out of combat, their is no reason i can think off why you couldn't do it. Unless your in a timed trap room or something. However if your in combat or the turn timer is running then their should be limits to what you can do. Their were such limits in bg1 and 2 from memory so its doable.

Ill be curious to see if they have plans for these things or if they have just thrown them out the window all together.

Also camp mechanic is quite ridiculous, as you are too safe in that abstract place. In BG games as well as IWD, whenever you went to sleep, there was a chance that you will be attacked by additional enemies. You had to plan it good. Position party members, so squishy ones are not at the edges, if you will be attack.
Here, you magically go to your special pocket plane (BG2: Throne of Baal) and go to sleep having happy time. I don't want that! I want to be attacked by random bunch of goblins, by wolves anything that could interrupt my rest.

+1, I'd be down for sleeping in some comfy bed clothes instead of all my armor.
