So when you're in the burning building to rescue the trapped guy from under the fallen beams, he wants you to get him out and find his missing wife. So far, so good. Now, the way that's available to do it now is to run back through the burning inn with him and get him outside, then find your way into the adjoining building to find the wife's body. Now at the moment the only way to get the full story effect from him is the macabre choice of hurling his wife's body out a window to the street at his feet to prove she's dead, then speak to the dead with her.

However, it LOOKS like there's meant to be the option to smash down the door next to where he was trapped, lead him out of the fire across the bridge between buildings to where the body is, where he will then respond to the Speak With Dead dialogue with Miri and things will progress, BUT you can't rescue the man from in there because the floor in that building is bugged, there's multiple spots where there's nothing blocking it but it's showing as impassable terrain so you can't just clear the path to let him down the stairs and out the front door, and he's unable to leap from the top floor like your only option to get out.

So either there's meant to be obstructions in that building to explain the impassable terrain, or the impassable terrain needs to be fixed (also, possibly, something to prove Miri's dead without having to hurl her corpse into the street like a ragdoll, if you're not meant to be able to show her to him)

I spotted a bug too. I failed to lift the beam off him (i thnk I failed a STR roll) but that didnt stop my party members from trying. I eventually lifted it off him, I think on the 3rd try (I know - unlucky!).

I can quite often redo checks with other party members, as long as it's not a check that immediately triggers combat or something like that, I'm not sure if that's intended or a bug effecting almost all of the dialogue
