I've hit a weird issue that I haven't seen anyone else mention.
I've played about 8 hours, but am only maybe 3 hours of gameplay in because I keep having to go back to previous save games. I am still level 1 after all this time because my experience keeps getting reset to 0. I don't know exactly when or why because I didn't notice it happening at first.
I am not sure exactly what's going on, but it might be that it happens when I should be leveling up to level 2? I've gone back to older saves, and it keeps happening, so it doesn't seem to be situational, or if it is, it's based on something that happened early in the game.
I don't know if it's related, but early on, I missed Lae'zel, and didn't add her to the party until after I'd done quite a few goblin and druid encounters. The problem started shortly after I finally added Lae'zel to the party, but that may just be a coincidence since I picked her up as I was nearing level 2.
Kind of at a dead end point with the game. The difficulty ramp is making encounters too hard without the ability to level up, so I'm either going to need to start all over or wait until the game is more solid unless someone has encountered this bug and knows a workaround.
