Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Any hint if the Mystic class may ever be added?

Perhaps this has already been answered, and I'm just wasting time. I understand that after it's short inclusion in the 5e d&d class list, the Mystic was removed for being too overpowered.

I don't want to play a game-breaking character at all, but I do *really* want to play a Mystic in BG3 for roleplaying reasons. Have there been there any words traded between Larian and WotC about bringing the Mystic (nerfed) back to 5e and maybe BG3? It's one hell of a longshot question, sure, but I just want to play a Mystic so damn bad.

I would really doubt it. There are still several classes missing in BG3 from the PHB, and mystic is a relatively obscure unearthed arcana class.

That said, once modding is supported, someone might mod it in.
