So, during some dialogue where my character got to talk about his past, I made him tell other characters that he grew up in the wilds and he has never been in Baldur's Gate himself, I mean, not only it makes sense because he is a Ranger, but it's the background I picked to roleplay as. I even picked the Folk Hero background, which I used to pick in 5e to roleplay as some sort of a small town/village hero, a kind of Robin Hood, someone who grew up near to or in the wilds and used to help the defenseless people nearby, which would make sense with my choice of class and everything else. The thing is, I don't know if that's a bug, my character still got the Baldurian tag and is treated as if he was from Baldur's Gate, and he definetly isn't.
I'm sure that the devs should fix that.
Also, having some passive social/roleplay abilities that come with Backgrounds should be introduced in the game. And with that I mean stuff like we get in the tabletop rpg, for example in d&d 5e, the Folk Hero may get free help from commoners if that doesn't put them in immediate danger, because they heard of him/her and will want to help someone who is known for helping them.
Anyway, great game so far, keep up the good work, Larian
