So the first issue is more of a question - do the hit percentages take into account buffs or other things ? The reason Im asking is Ive never seen characters miss so much with very high % chances in my life. Ive had the entire party miss an enemy for 2 full rounds when their hit percentages were between 65%-90%. Now sure that is possible but statistically when you have greater then a 1 in 2 chance of hitting and you miss 8 times....... And this seems to be pretty common. Also not sure if its a bug but I notice when Ive knocked someone prone with a spell or ability they become much harder to hit(like 25% chance) which seems like the opposite of what it should be.

Second issue is just maybe a suggestion - I see quite a lot on people asking for more then 4 party members. Perhaps the simple way to do that would just be to make it "easy" difficulty. That way you guys dont have to try and go back and re-balance the whole game for 5-6 party members. You can just take normal mode and allow 5-6, that should automatically make it easy mode. Normal and hard modes would keep 4 party members so no re-balance necessary. (though I know adding an additional party slot is still a good bit of work).

This is usually the case in low level d&d in my experience. However I've found spells to be extremely unreliable, the only offensive spell that is worth casting is magic missile. Seems the enemies saving throws is a bit too high perhaps. When an enemy is prone it's usually harder to hit it with ranged attacks but easier to hit with melee as logic would dictate smile

Oh I have no problem with low level characters having a low chance to hit, my issue was it was showing they had a high chance to hit. If its showing characters with 90% chance to hit and they miss over and over that seems wrong. Thats why I was asking if something isnt being taken into consideration and the numbers its showing are wrong. If my characters have like 20% chance to hit then yeah I can see the entire party missing for a round or two, but not at 65%-90%. You might be right on the prone issue. I had it in my head that it was a melee attack but you know it might have been a spell or arrow, so yes maybe that is a mistake on my part.
