Purchased through Steam. I can't launch using Vulkan; when I launch using DXII, the loading screens and cinematics look great, but the home screen and character creator (as far as I'll go because this issue is annoying me) are pixelated and/or has horizontal lines running through them. I tried updating my drivers and think that's all I can do for now. Thinking about getting a refund from Steam if I can't get this figured out sooner than later.

Any guidance? Please note I am not particularly tech-savvy (a friend of mine set up my gaming PC). Pretend you're explaining it to a 5 year old.

Intel/Nvidia or AMD/Radeon?

AMD/Radeon.

So good news bad news Totiphyll... it's not you bad news it's all of us using older Radeon cards of so far at least 6900 and lower. Other good news Problem doesn't exist in Divinity 2 so they will likely be able to fix it but there's been no word I have seen yet on this or the other related driver/launcher issues.
