I'm on my third character, 25 hours played. And every character has experienced the same game crashing bug because of the level cache directory issues where it can't find a folder that never existed on my local files.
The only way I've found to fix it is with a complete reinstall.
It's looking for some folder in C:\Users\[mynamehere]\OneDrive\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\LevelCache that doesn't exist or was never made. It's one of the numbered folders.
I have no clue how to fix this on my end and i have no clue why it is either looking for a folder that never existed or never created the folder in the first place.
Please do look into it. Downloading this game over wifi takes a ton of time and I can't do it via lan line from where I'm located.
