Er, hi. I've been reading a lot of posts that seem relevant, but in the most recent few pages I haven't seen exactly the same thing, so I hope nobody minds me making a new post.

I got the game yesterday, and had no problems whatsoever. I had the 1.32 patch installed, and except for me being too braindead to solve easy puzzles, gameplay was fine.

Today I installed the 1.42 patch and now even on a brand-new game -- which I hadn't wanted to start, because I don't like redoing things, even though I hadn't gotten very far -- I'm getting frequent crashes. The biggest one seems to be that I cannot use Summoning Dolls at ALL. Clicking on the doll in my inventory crashes the game hardcore. In fact, my inventory screen seems much more picky now, and clicking and dragging on some items causes freezes and crashes seemingly at random.

Not sure what good my complaining will do, but, you know, another voice with problems, I guess. And now, I'm off to try and play as best I can, because I'm determined to finish Act I.

strange, this is after installing 1.42 and starting a new game? when i restarted the summoning doll works fine, i've had no crash problems.
i only did on my original 1.32 to 1.42 game.
but that was the only game breaking bug on that game. other things like item weight issues persist. oh and there was a pepper shaker i couldn't click on to use or it would crash the game, but that was minor... i just sold the stupid thing.

@Etoile & Eldrin
If I was you I would compress the game and send it to support @ Larian.com, remember to describe how you reproduce the problem.
