Is there a major/minor/any real difference between running with their default interface(forgot the name) or selecting DirectX11?...

I left it on their default and everything seems to run nicely... any boost going to 11 though?...

You could... try it? There are a few posts about this. Some people are having better experiences with Vulkan, others with DX11.


I don't want to fall to bits 'cos of excess existential thought.

As a personal preference, Vulkan is too blurry on my TV screen compared to DX11. So I switched to get a much sharper image.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card, theres a driver setting for image sharpening that might help with that.

Vulkan works great for the most part, but there's a couple areas where things will get real shaky or start bugging until I load up in dx11

I had issues where the game would just flat out stop, and start working again. Switching over to DX 11 seemed to fix that. Got a Nvidia 1070 card, mine seems to play better with DX 11.


Is this thing on?
