Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Are crafting stations disabled?

So, either most of these aren't working, or, as always, I just have no freaking clue how to use them. I know at one point I made a couple of poisons, but that seems to be the only thing I could do at any of the crafting stations and I'm assuming it's only because it was part of the start of the game.

If they are working, how do they work? I can only add one item to the top right slot and have the curly question mark icon in the other two slots.

I'm sorry, where are they?

Well, for example, there's the anvil at the guy who sells armour and stuff in Silvanus' Grove as well as the cooking pot in that area. Now I'm at a workbench in Waukeen's Rest. I've added many items and clicked Combine but nothing ever comes of it.

(side note - I can't believe it's 2020 and we're still stuck with forums that won't let you upload images, forcing us to upload the images somewhere else and then link to them. Why do companies refuse to move on from this ancient way of doing this?)

The tab is greyed out as well (you can see the hammer icon on the bar when you browse the character sheet)
I assume the crafting is not implemented yet

Weird. I know it's early access, buy I figured they would be releasing something with everything working for the most part. I guess I expected something a little more feature complete.

there's a lot not currently implemented, it's very far from feature complete.

I've seen videos of people completing the Finish the masterwork weapons quest but on stadia at least I cant use the combine feature to finish and i spent hours in the underdark to find the damn bark.

There's also a recipe in the basement of one of the blighted village houses.

I was only able to craft the masterwork for the quest, repair the broken spear, and make the druid antidote. nothing else to craft that I've found. got a bunch of ingots that are just taking up space I guess.

I'd start with DoS 2 style combinations, but we're still in the Earliest part of the Early Access.

Good find on the antidote though, I felt pretty clever when I figured it out.

how did you repair the broken spear? I have the parts but could not figure that out.

Right click and select "Combine"
