Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Unable to connect to Multiplayer lobbies

I've been trying to connect to my friends multiplayer lobby since the launch day. In all that time i have been able to connect 1 time. Friend is in steam and i'm in GOG.

We've been trying to connect while alternating between Vulkan and DX11, but it seems that theres no relation between that and the connection failure.

If anyone has any idea how to solve this please help me!

Isn't there a cross-platform thing that needs to be enabled? I'm mostly clueless, so that may not be applicable....

I've been trying to play with my pals (who are PC users, while I'm using a Mac) - and we keep getting this error : "joining failed: Players have different game versions. Please ensure you're up to date!" -- am I just being paranoid or pessimistic or is this something you're aware of and working on? I'd hate the thought of not being able to play with them cause we actually got the early access just for this lol.
