Has a toggle to cast a spell at a higher level been considered rather than adding the same spell at a different level to your hotbar?
Been frequently running into needing casting the all might healing word at higher levels.

The new spell on hotbar approach is bad. My suggestion is a floating menu to pick the spell level.

They already have that in game for certain spells like Find Familiar or Hex which open up a menu above the hotbar with options to choose from, so it's obviously possible for them to do and hopefully something they will implement. I'm getting really tired of searching through my clutter hotbar of abilities, cantrips, spells, items, etc just to find the spell I'm looking for at a higher level.

UI is so pre-Alpha version... same things. I want a pop-up with spell slot selecting

Registered here to suggest just that. It would really help clean up and decluter the hotbar as well.

Furthermore, I'd suggest that the spellbook shows the spells only for the spells level, instead of repeating it at each subsequent leve. Otherwise it can be hard to distinguish between spells of that level and spells of a lower level.
