Anyone else have Gale's questline vanish from their log? Although I am prompted to gift him an item I have found for his ~ condition ~, there is also no option to do this when I speak to him.
I think the game checks if the item is an artefact or not. You can't just give him anything you want. He will be the one asking for a specific item in your inventory.
