another effect of this bug :

http://users.pandora.be/robin.ceulemans/downloads/bug2.JPG

some quivers appear as magic, like the one in selling window
i only picked up 40 arrows, but imagine picking up them all
because the game allows me to sell them for 40*4500 gold (it sees it as 40* the crossbow...)

not gonna sell it cuz i dont like cheating
but any clarification on this one please?

Try deleting the files in the dynamics folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem.

In any case, there is obviously something stuck somewhere.

tried that, but the problem remains...
its not just in my battlefields, but in the whole game ...
ill sketch the situation :

atm im with a good save at lvl 1 end of a battlefield dungeon (dont know which lvl exactly)(act2)
the moment i go down to lvl 2 of that dungeon, i still get a good citadel ranger (the ones that attack me on sight give good drops ive noticed), if i go a few rooms further , the problem is there again
the citadel rangers just standing there doing nothing, dropping magical quivers, etc ... from then on its in the whole game
for example : mages dropping bone helmet, you just get to see the item name, no stats , nothing (thats 1 thing)
the other thing : items giving wrong graphic, such as on the screenshot...
so either i get wrong stuff, or its worthless

deleting the dynamics did nothing...

ok that seems to have fixed it
but im kind of afraid that 1.42 wont ever give me magical droppings/unique drops with stats anymore...

read about that
or is that just for the items which are already on the floor that loose magic properties? not the future droppings?

If you play in 1.4, save in 1.4 and then upgrade to 1.42, then load the game saved in 1.4, items on the floor will indeed lose special attributes.

But this is the only time this will ever happen. It does not happen to items in your inventory, nor will it happen to future.. erm.. "droppings".. or saves

With a side effect that some battlefield quest where you have to get a magical object back are definitivelly broken when you patch. Till next act of course

So best moment to patch is maybe just before passing to next act, when no quest are left open ?
