I'll admit i don't have that much experience with early access games, in fact this is the first one i've bought and the only one i've played before it was Grounded, the survival game made by Obsidian. I'm genuinely curious to know what do you guys think about this release, considering that Larian is not a small indie studio and this is BG3 and they're charging full price for it. With Grounded i had a good experience, there were bugs and a ton of missing content but the foundation of the game was there and it was fun to play. I could see the game had potential. With this i haven't, except for the very beginning of the game it has been too broken and unfinished for me to enjoy. Maybe you didn't have the same amount of problems i've encountered but for me it has become almost unplayable now, it seems like the more i play the more broken the game becomes, it's basically a game in pre-alpha and i feel i'm doing the QA tester for Larian more than anything.
SPOILERS
I avoided the druid camp and just went off the beaten path, i ended up in a Zentharim hideout where i can save an artist, i've killed everyone and he won't leave, it keeps asking me to buy him from the Zenth i've just killed.
In the Underdark i found the Booal quest, killed him and then the conversation with Pooldripp is bugged.
By chance i found the Hag house and literally broke the quest, the dialogue with Mayrina is bugged and the quest is stuck in my journal.
While doing these things i had so many bugs and performance problems with textures not loading, frame drops and stuttering. Add the fact that there's basically no loot in the game, overall i had a terrible experience in the last few days. As i see it they should have waited a bit more before releasing the game, because in my opinion and for the experience i had this is way too early in the development process. Was Original Sin this broken at the start of early access too?
