Neverwinter Nights - Deekin (kobold bard) and Linu La'neral (disaster cleric)
Neverwinter Nights 2 - Neeshka (best companion Rogue ever)
Demon Stone - The whole polycule of Rannek, Zhai, and Illius (though depending on timeline, it might just be Zhai and Illius left...unless they found a way to extend a non-mage human's lifespan)
Baldur's Gate - Neela

Like, have them pop up in a tavern comparing their adventures or something.

I would prefer no cameos but it would be very cool if we found items related to them, such as one of Deekin's books.

Given the timeline (NWN2 happens six years after BG2 and BG3 happens 100 years after BG2) and the expected life span of tieflings, I would find it astonishing meeting Neeshka. Not impossible but still. that girl would be old smile

She is implied to be a bit more direct descent from a devil than most tieflings, so maybe her lifespan is a bit longer...but heh, if she were to show up at a tavern and acting as an agent/emissary for the lord/lady of Crossroad Keep it would be cool (she was always the person I wished was a romanceable option)

Neeshka is also so far my ideal rogue companion. She is best girl.

I also think this would be the only way to incorporate potential cameos. Even though earlier development studios like bioware/obsidian might have been granted a temporary use of the D&D IP and lore from wotc, the in-game stories and characters still belong to those companies. Ofc Larian can ask nicely if it's ok to put in a small cameo of example Neeshka but I don't think they will.

As far as I know most of the narrative and characters of the Bhaalspawn saga has been made official D&D canon and it's propriety of WoTC.
Not particularly confident about it, that's just what I heard in the past.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN
