I am in Act II right now, and I have about 15 charms in my inventory, but nobody has been able to teach me this skill. How do you learn it?

Who says you need a Skill? Put them into your items.... finish.

Maybe it's worth mentioning that to charm an object you need to have it equiped. Then you can click on the object, a screen with sockets will appear and you can enter the charms.

It can be tricky because there is no mention in the manual on how to charm. I played DD to the end without finding out how to charm items! Second time was a charm though!

The charming slots have an "X" on them when I open the item up. It's just like the "X" on the slots in D.D. before you learn how to charm items. So I can't use my charms.

The 'X' are always present, but I could insert charms anyway... Just give it a try!

That confused me as well until I read how to do it on these forums. It works, but they should have made them open sockets, like the open holes for the crystals in the crystal bag, so we could tell right away what to do.

Now that I have learned this, can anyone tell me how you find out what each charm does? Are you supposed to experiment with them?
