Well met adventurers, some know what will happen to the experience gained after reaching the maximum level of early access. ?

Our saves will likely be wiped in the event of an update raising the level cap.

It will be lost with all your characters every time there's any major update in EA breaking compatibility with the previous version, and most likely a last time when the proper release comes out in a year or so.
