The player should always have the ability to readily be able Look at and see and to tell how their rolls are being calculated, whether bonuses are being actually applied, or if rolls are being made with disadvantage/advantage.

As it is currently, and taking the randomness of a rolls calculator, I cannot prove but do suspect that rolls for checks and balances are not actually having bonuses applied I.E. My Tief Ranger has an perception bonus of +4, but in almost every perception check has failed the first time and failed every reroll. I think perhaps that the system should be loosened up just a bit and not be as strict as 5E's actual rules for checks if bonuses and disadvantage/advantage is actually being applied properly and isn't bugged.

The same, as I said in my first sentence, should apply to feats and other things. I think the way that this information is presented is currently either completely missing in presentation or is cumbersome and very confusing to find and then disappointing to read and to learn that it does not /actually/ explain what your feats/rolls/bonuses are giving you or being applied to: For Instance; Martial Proficiency is explained as thus, "Add your proficiency bonus to attack rolls (your chance to hit a target) with Martial Weapons"
What it should also say is the TYPE of weapons that are included within this feats jurisdiction, most likely by using bulleted points under the proficiency's main entry.

Aside from the Early Access bugs that were to be expected, and the presumption about the UI possibly not even being final anyway, BG3 is pretty fricken awesome if this is honestly my biggest complaint/suggestion smile

The bonuses are modifying target numbers instead of rolls. That's why target numbers can change based on whether you use something like Guidance or different characters in dialogues.
