Hello everyone !

I started to play the game a day or so after its release as an early access. At first, I had no peculiar issues aside some missing animations in npc faces in dialogues and freezes in the ship cinematics; but meh it's an early access, nothing to bother me.
However, as I progressed through the game, and the map, some freezes started to appear : characters'/enemies'/dialogues' animations would freeze for some seconds every x time, (also the music stops too). But it was bearable, it would fix itself after some time, or by forcing a reload (by loading a saved file), but since this morning the game sadly became unplayable and I spent the day unable to play. The game now just freezes for several seconds every 2 seconds before somtimes completly crashing. I've tried pretty much everything, direct x or vulkan launch won't change anything, neither running as admin etc. I've checked my pc sensors and everything is normal, there is no overheath or overusage of memory/cpu/gpu. Also lowering graphics settings don't change anything, it even worsen the case, crashing immediatly after loading saved files (i tried multiple file saves also). I don't know how the game works but to me it seems like it's trying to load too much, too many things at once, now that I've progressed throught a big part of the map, and so can't do it. Also, dunno if it's correlated but the village burning in flames is just impossible to play through for me.

Right now I'm running a steam check up on the files, hoping for a kind of miracle, so if you have any ideas on how to fix this issue, I would gladly hear them.

Cheers o/

Update:
Steam detected files to redownload. Trying to do so, it stopped mid-dl saying that my drive was corrupted. I tried to check what was going on by browsing my HDD, and it froze. I restarted my PC and my HDD was gone. I thought that it may have died but today it is back. So... I think my HDD is dying, and I don't know if it was the cause of the freezes, or if the freezes accelerated the dying processus. Anyway, I'm going to buy a second SSD and will update this post when I will get it and checked if the freezes are still remaining or not.
