Hi there! Super excited about starting to play this game and was especially happy that you released a mac version. However, I've been trying to play with my pals (who are PC users, while I'm using a Mac) - and we keep getting this error : "joining failed: Players have different game versions. Please ensure you're up to date!" -- am I just being paranoid or pessimistic or is this something you're aware of and working on? I'd hate the thought of not being able to play with them cause we actually got the early access just for this lol.

Thanks for brining BG back to life! Keep it alive! It's been TOO long hehe

I guess it's referred to as cross platform multiplayer. We all use Steam, btw.

I've been having the same issue. Both of us are on Steam, Mac is never on the same version as PC to do multiplayer. Sometimes Mac is ahead of PC and vice versa. I'm hoping there will be a resolution to ensure this is possible in the future updates.

I don't think any Crossplay is working at this point. Stadia to Steam, GoG to Steam, Mac Steam to PC Steam.

9 days ago Larian posted that they are aware and working on it but we haven't heard anything since then.

I tried to do cross platform with three of us last night after we all ran the update. 2 PC users and 1 Mac user. Got the same error about having different versions. Would love to get confirmation from Larian that this is not currently supported and/or when they intend to have this sorted.

Our fix in the meantime is to get the mac user to install windows which he's not pumped about.
