Hi , loving game so far..

Just finished crafting Masterwork sword after epic Battles in Underdark to get bark , only to discover it's inferior to the sword I was gifted by the Paladin of Tyr (Anders?)
which was a two minute kill one npc quest?? Big let down.

Yes, but how are you going to feed Gale? Also what if you have two different Greatsword swinging party members.

Honestly though, I agree that it should at least have additional benefit. (I haven't built it yet, so maybe it does?)

Inferior? I think you will find that on-hit Silence is quite strong. Hit any spell caster once, and they wont be able to cast any spells. It's literally a bit too strong for level 4 honestly.
