The south wall of the house has two potion shelves with books at the bottom. Clicking on them to loot makes you run outside, climb up the ladder, get on the roof, and loot through the roof

Here is how I am looting. There is a crack in the house that I can peek through

What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?

It's not just the village, but this happens in many places where it makes you run out of an area to get something right next to you. Other examples include the Underdark and Risen Road.
